I have been thinking that it is time to be a little more "structured" with this blog. I have seen other people do similar things, and I have found that I look forward to reading their blogs on certain days. Monday's feature was the madness! of the past week. And today is the weekly poll.
The question of the week? What is worse, laundry or dishes? I know that MANY of you have an opinion on this subject. My honest opinion is whatever I have to do. But, if you HAD to choose, what would you choose? Make sure you take the poll on the side, and then leave your opinion. I'll let you know what I'm sayin' next Tuesday (so that I don't sway your vote)...

Laundry. Hands down. I like doing the dishes. I know. I'm weird. And I don't mind putting the laundry in, but I totally HATE folding and putting away.
p.s. I got boo-ed on my blog, so I'm passing it along to you!
Agree, Laundry. Dishes are just right there. They might be all over the counter, but still in reach. Plus, there are more steps in laundry. With dishes you just put them in, and take them out. Laundry, you put it, then put it in again, while putting in another load, then you take that first one out, and then move the second one, then put in a third one, and on and on, and then you have to fold it all, then put it all away, which stuff goes all over the house. Its a work out. THEN, you have to iron. DON'T GET ME STARTED!
Laundry! Even explaining all the reasons why laundry is hard is hard! The clothes that AREN'T dirty that shouldn't be in there in the first place, the socks, the lost socks that have no mates, the folding, the not folding and then having a basket of wrinkled mess!
Laundry has been the bane of my existence since we moved here, and I think I figured out why: Stairs. There are stairs everywhere in this crazy house. Instead of hallways, there are stairs. I have to go upstairs to get the dirty laundry. Down two sets of stairs to do the laundry, and then back up two sets of stairs to put it away.
And, folding and putting away and hanging things up and ironing are just a pain. And it seems like it never ends! Just when you think you've accomplished something, there is always more and more laundry to do...
Um it´s close here in Spain...NO dishwasher and no dryer! Right now it is raining and I have a batch of wash getting wet after I just hung it on the line. (Would it be hanged? Not an English major, but hung sounds weird, but correct!!) Oh and I have to walk up two stories to get to the roof to put the wash in then again to hang it then again to bring it down...I am going to say laundry.
The easy way to get your laundry (or dishes) done is invite me to babysit. I've had years of experience and not many clothes or dishes to do in my own house. I finally enjoy it, but I do remember the feeling of drowning in laundry and not being able to find the bottom of the basket for weeks at a time.
Mom
I would like to invite your mom to come and visit me anytime!
