FYI

Did you know that there is an average of 50,000 spiders per acre in green areas.

My house may not be a green area, but it feels like there are 50,000 spiders roaming around. I am killing AT LEAST 5 each day. No Joke. I have never had a bug killer here either. I can't get my hubby to agree to the money spent. Nor do I want to actually spend the money because let's face it, I'd rather buy something fun, not for bugs to die. And so far every year since we've been here I get ants in my bathroom in the spring. IN MY BATHROOM! There's no food in there, only ... well ... you know. I keep telling myself that eventually I will kill them all, but I think all my neighbors are fumigating and there must be an underground tunnel system of bug rescue. We must be the bug safe house around. Plus I think they reproduce worse than bunnies, so maybe I should give up. I'm just sayin'.

I've never thought the bug killer would be worth it, but we paid for one this past summer, and wow what a difference. I killed a bug yesterday and it was literally the only one in months. And we used to be swarmed with everything... spiders, wasps, box elder beetles, ants, you name it. Now? Nothing. Just do it! Actually I think you can buy the stuff at Home Depot and do it yourself too.

We've used Ortho Home Defense Max (that you can get at Wal Mart or Home Depot), and I've liked it. It's the kind that comes in a big container with a seperate squirter attached and you spray around the perimeter of your house. I think you're supposed to do it both inside and out, and I've only done it inside, and it seems to work. You should give it a shot!

I can't believe you're still seeing spiders. I usually see a lot in the early fall, and then in spring. I think they're still there, just hypernating behind stuff. You must keep your house nice and warm to keep them awake!
Yeah, I'd call the bug guy. Just call a bunch of places and get the cheapest one.

I got my Christmas decorations out ( I know shocker!) and they were all infested with Spiders. Thing1 Fa-REE-ked out and we threw them all away.

It sort of takes all the pressure off now!
